The Greater Fleischmanns Museum of Memories was founded in 1978, to preserve and present the history of our area. Chartered by the State of New York, its displays give visitors a sense of the rich history here. There are exhibits on Rail Road History, Agriculture, the many fine hotels, and notables such as Amelita Galli-Curci and Gertrude Berg (Molly Goldberg) who had strong ties here. Open Saturdays from Memorial Day Weekend until Columbus Day, noon - 3 PM. Open Thursdays & Fridays in July and August. Occasional Sundays as well.
